Nathan, who joined Sonoma Technology in 2015, specializes in geographic information systems (GIS), data analysis, and fire science. He conducts analyses related to air pollution impact assessments and wildland fires. Nathan’s background lies in geospatial analysis of environmental challenges, and he is excited to use his GIS and remote sensing skills to contribute to innovative, ethical, science-based solutions at Sonoma Technology.

Nathan is a life-long nature lover, and outside of Sonoma Technology, he enjoys hiking, camping, swimming, cooking, and building things. Nathan is also a member of the American Geophysical Union. He received his BA in Biology from Grinnell College in Iowa and his MS in Geography and Geographic Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
