Crystal D. McClure

Crystal has over 15 years of experience measuring and analyzing of wildfire smoke and other air toxics, including National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) pollutants, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), metals, and particulate matter. She is currently involved in a range of projects, including PAMS monitoring and data analysis, exceptional event analyses, processing and visualization of ambient air pollution monitoring data, creation of satellite-agency coupled wildfire databases, and analysis of wildfires and smoke on health impacts. Before joining Sonoma Technology, Crystal received a Doctorate and Masters in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Washington, and a Bachelor's degree in Meteorology from Texas A&M University.

In her free time, Crystal enjoys gardening, hiking, crocheting, painting, and cooking. She is a member of the American Geophysical Union, International Association of Wildland Fire, and American Meteorological Society.
