Sonoma Technology is seeking a Director of New Product Development to join our Management Team in Petaluma, California. For more information about our culture, visit <a href="http://www.sonomatech.com/charter" target="_blank">www.sonomatech.com/charter</a href>.</p> Sonoma Technology is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.</p> <b>Key Responsibilities</b> <ul><li>Product Vision – identify new opportunities, define how they generate revenue, clearly communicate and excite staff, and select and develop the right opportunities into products.</li> <li>Product Execution – collaborate across all parts of the organization and interface with partners and customers to turn ideas into revenue-generating products.</li> <li>Product Culture – lead the product office team and the company as a whole to add a “product mentality” to our proven and reputable service/consulting capabilities.</li> <li>Establish a New Product Management Office, tools, and processes.</li> <li>Pursue existing product opportunities.</li> <li>Lead investigation of funding and structure alternatives for new products.</li> <li>Establish long-term product vision.</li></ul> <b>Required Qualifications and Skills</b> <ul><li>A BS, MS, or PhD degree in the physical sciences, environmental sciences, or engineering.</li> <li>A strong interest in air quality and environmental science.</li> <li>Excellent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Experience with product development.</li></ul> <b>Desired Qualifications</b> <ul><li>Experience in product development in a science-based organization.</li> <li>Experience in product development from conception through execution and to market.</li> <li>Experience in financial analysis of products at all stages of development.</li></ul> <b>Submitting a Résumé</b><br> No phone calls, please.
